Due to the sanitary emergency of Covid-19, the organizing committee of the meeting "The Economy of Pope Francis", to be held in Asis, Italy, decided to postpone the event to November 19, 20 and 21 of this year and to celebrate it virtually.
Valentina Alarcón, who will participate in the Vocation and Profit Village of the Economy, comments that since the change in the modality of the event was known, they have had to work and connect in meetings in a constant way to put together a new online structure. However, for her and all the Chilean participants it has been a great opportunity, since as a group they have been meeting since March of this year, preparing in different areas and strengthening each other.
The organizing committee has already assured that this online version will allow all the young people registered to participate in the meeting under the same conditions, in order to share experiences, works and proposals from the 12 villages or villas, in addition to an innovative program that will have group works, plenary sessions, Franciscan spirituality, artistic presentations and exhibitions. In addition, the virtual participation of Pope Francis is confirmed.
