Fondacio in the Philippines since 1982

Help young people to empower themselves, strengthen cohesion in families

Fondacio Philippines aims to form young people and families to be rooted in the love of Christ and to be equipped and empowered to do and live the mission in their own realities.

Fondacio Philippines was born in 1982 from the arrival of some French Fondacio members who remained full-time missionaries, sharing the spirituality of Fondacio and building a community. The community grew and was able to reach mainly young professionals. In the following years, various social development projects and missions also emerged.

CRIS JEFFREY CANO

Customer Service Representative, EGS

Hi everyone, it's Cris! I recently passed the EGS final interview and will become a UPS CSR. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TEACHED ME. Thank you for all your help, support and prayers. I may not be the best student and I know I missed some of my responsibilities. But I'm really grateful that you were there every time.
THANK YOU FROM THE HEART 🙂

KIM MARI PIA

Customer Service Representative, Concentrix

My name is Kim and I'm a customer representative at Concentrix. I just got regularized recently and I'm very happy about it. Of course, YLDC has been an important part of this journey to achieve my dreams. I am very happy because now I can provide for my family, especially in times of difficulty. My job can be stressful and difficult at times, but thanks to our training at YLDC, I am able to apply some of the things they have taught us. We were taught how to make the most of our time, how to build healthy relationships with our colleagues, what attitudes to have in our work and towards our client and more. Also, I really appreciate the time I spent with my Batch classmates as well as getting to know other students from other Batchs. It was an experience full of learnings and memories filled with fun and caring for each other. I am lucky to be part of this family.

CRISTINE INOSANTO

YLDC Philippines - Student Batch 3

Hello. I am Cristina, 19 years old, a graduate of YLDC from Batch 3. I am currently working at Omniglobe International as a customer service representative - chat support for a pioneer account. I am doing well in my training and I am now in training. I have faced many challenges and difficulties since the beginning of my training until now. But that doesn't make me feel hopeless because at YLDC I learned to be strong to face life's difficulties.
The challenges taught me how to improve myself to become a better person. The thoughts and motivations I gained from YLDC led me to fulfill and realize my dream in life. Thank you very much YLDC for all the help you have given me, the non-stop support. You made me a different person from who I was before. God protects you !

CARMELA SIENDO

Documentation Agent in a Maritime Recruitment Company

I really enjoy my job, especially because of the nice people I meet. However, I also face many challenges. There are instances where I am asked to work overtime and it is not always easy and the distance I have to travel from Makati back to Fairview very late at night is not always fun. But I always remember from YLDC that we must engage in our work not only for our own good, but it is also my small but significant contribution to the success of our business. We were taught that our hard work will pay off and the benefit will not only be for me but for everyone. I would also like to thank YLDC for helping me improve and overcome the limits of my shyness and doubt.<

MARJORIE PABINGUIT

Account Manager, Santos Law Firm

YLDC helped me overcome my shyness. My experience at YLDC taught me to develop a good work ethic in order to perform my tasks well. I am also learning how to deal with different types of people over the phone and also how to gain their trust as well. In addition, YLDC taught me to set short and long term goals that will inspire me every day to build a better future for myself. A few months after completing YLDC, I was hired as an account executive. Thanks to my YLDC family because I have become a better person who can communicate in English!

BRAND EUGENE LAURIO

Customer Service Representative, Concentrix

I am happy to be part of the first batch of YLDC students as well as being one of their first interns. When I completed phase 1 of the program, we moved on to phase 1 - finding a job and becoming an OJT for a distribution company. There are many lessons that I have been able to apply in my work; know how to behave in a professional environment (this is for me the best), present oneself professionally and have communication skills. In addition, the program helped me increase my self-confidence and gave me more confidence. I also admire the holistic approach that makes YLDC different from other training programs. Being part of the program was a great experience for me, as I thought three months was not enough and needed to be extended. Of course, this will help us young people to be more competitive and ready to face the real world of business / work.
