Person Centered Training

We train young actors of social transformation

The Fondacio América Training Institute offers intercultural and innovative training in the areas of ethical leadership and social project entrepreneurship.

A training designed to enable young people, with their conviction, to contribute to the social transformation of the continent, from their own communities of life.

In recent years, Latin America and the Caribbean has undergone many political changes and developed strongly in a short time. Unfortunately, this development has been very uneven across the continent, including in Chile. In fact, 102 million people, or a total of 10.2% of the population, still live in extreme poverty (ECLAC, January 2019).

IFF América was born in 2014 in Santiago de Chile to fight against these inequalities and allow Latin American youth to be perfectly trained to become actors of social change. Thus, IFF America fulfills its mission based on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Development Program, through Goal #4 – Quality Education.

IFF America aims to provide these young people with a strong social vocation, the training that allows them to carry out social projects based on their own conviction of leadership.

Through this experience, they will be able to actively discern their vocation, acquire the skills, leadership and project management tools, to create in their country of origin projects with strong social impact responding to local needs or to integrate social structures. existing. IFF America facilitates an experience of personal knowledge that allows each student to take charge of their life with a protagonist attitude.

Program Of 490 Hrs Of Courses And Workshops

3 months of internship, to allow young people to take up the challenge of getting involved in an unknown social reality.

International Diploma in Ethical Leadership and Social Projects

This degree, certified by the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Colombia, is developed on 3 axes of skills: personal development, identification and analysis of social challenges, application of management tools and leadership development for social innovation. This diploma has two modalities: a PARTIAL modality and a FULL-TIME modality, the latter being the one that has an experience of intercultural coexistence in our student residence during the 9 months of training. This 490-hour program, made up of courses, workshops and a 3-month internship, allows young people to take up a challenge by getting involved in an unknown social reality, by forming relationships with communities and groups where they can carry out actions giving life to social projects with a view to thus experiencing one’s own vocation in a different cultural context. Whether during or after the training, the IFF America is a tool allowing, according to the sensitivity of each participant, to contribute to each of the 17 sustainable development goals. This human tool has made it possible, since 2014, to radiate positively among + 2,500 people in vulnerable situations. In fact, our 70+ graduates are now socially involved in a variety of ways: entrepreneurship, volunteering, or intrapreneurship (where they lead, within a business or private organization, linking the work of sustainable development organization). In the testimonies of former students, everyone agrees that training at IFF America was decisive in putting down roots and acting against their social commitments. IFF America has a solid network, both academic and social:
