A group of 14 people attended the traditional Fondacio Chile's Christmas mass which this time was held under the parrón (barbecue) at the exit of the oratory in Centro Los Almendros. However, the "midnight mass" as it is commonly known, was followed by approximately 100 more people, via zoom from their homes.
The mass was officiated by the priest Miguel Ángel Ríos op who has already accompanied Fondacio in other community instances.
During his homily during Fondacio Chile's Christmas Mass,he invited the participants to share in small groups around the question: What is the good news that Jesus brings me this Christmas?
This was certainly an opportunity to reflect on the need to be "attentive and close" to one another in this challenge posed by the pandemic.
In addition, this Eucharist was also an opportunity to celebrate and give thanks for the 40 years of Fondacio Chile commemorated during the year 2020 that is coming to an end. On this occasion, in the middle of the year, Fondacio's digital mailbox was created, which compiled different testimonies from many members and friends of Fondacio and which we will soon begin to "liberate" and share with you via social networks.
