France : Three questions to Marianne de Boisredon, Head of Fondacio in France by the Parole et Prière Magazine !
What is Fondacio's vocation?
The members of Fondacio have a deep faith in God and Man. This faith leads to awakening the best in each person, their beauty, their talents, their dignity, their unique dimension. At Fondacio, we want to share the "contagion of Hope" that the Gospel gives us and to take part in the challenges of our society by working with numerous proposals for human and spiritual formation and actions of solidarity.
What is Fondacio's wish for young people?
Through its projects with young people between 12 and 30 years of age, Fondacio wishes to help everyone to build themselves humanly, develop true relationships, take their place in society and discover or revisit the richness of the Christian faith. Fondacio relies for this on a pedagogy based on listening to oneself and sharing life experiences in small groups to get to know oneself better and take care of one's inner life.
Living Laudato Si', what does it mean for Fondacio?
Founded on the Gospel, Fondacio's pedagogy serves the humanisation of life in its 3 dimensions:
- being True' - giving meaning to one's life,
- being with" - relating with others
- being for" - getting involved in the world.
The Fondacio Centres, including those in France, are committed as Laudato Si' places to accompany everyone fraternally on their journey of transformation, in order to safeguard our common home.
