To retreat one's life is to be able to reconcile one's vocation, the inner call received and the mission, the commitment that corresponds to it. It also means responding to one's aspirations, desires, pleasing oneself and others. Everything can become "leisure" in the good sense of the word. To retreat one's life is also to balance the body, the intellect, the emotional, the relational and the spiritual. It is learning to age well by seeking to become fully oneself.
