Yearning for a meaningful life, many young people find their way through this complexity. To meet this demand, the Fondacio Training Institutes (IFF) have developed very relevant university training programs, adapted to the realities of each continent, and with an original and innovative pedagogy.

These training programs offer students, whether they are Christians or not, the possibility of defining and implementing a significant professional project at the service of society. They also offer training to Christians adapted to their desire to live their faith at the heart of their professional and personal commitments.

The different programs are led according to Fondacio’s pedagogy, which involves reflection around personal questions, re-reading of experience, intellectual contributions, internships and places of commitment.

At the end of the 1980s, a Fondacio Training Institute (IFF) was created in France and developed at continental level (Belgium, Romania) to become IFF Europe, whose headquarters are in Angers (France ) with an office in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium). Gradually, other Fondacio Training Institutes have emerged on other continents: IFF Asia in Manila (Philippines), IFF Africa in Lomé (Togo) and finally, in 2014, IFF America (Santiago de Chile).

Since its inception, up to 1,800 students have attended the courses, delivered in partnership with local universities and non-governmental organizations working on the ground, on specific social projects.

On each continent, the institutes offer training proposals adapted to continental contexts, attentive to the social, educational and youth needs in their local context.

• IFF Europe , in Angers (France), a center associated with the Catholic University of the West, offers several semester or annual university courses, equivalent in L1, L2 and L3, and a Bac+ 3 university degree. In Louvain-la-Neuve (in Belgium ), two one-semester university programs are offered, one on the threshold of student life, the other to successfully engage in professional life.

• IFF Afrique , Lomé (Togo), offers a 9-month agricultural entrepreneurship program and short modular training courses in agricultural entrepreneurship or in leadership and project development.

• IFF Asia, Manila (Philippines), trains agents of change for the countries of Southeast Asia, with two options, one more ecclesial and the other more oriented towards social development.

• IFF America , Santiago (Chile), Bogotá (Colombia) in partnership with the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia), offers a one-year program “Protagonist of Social Change for Latin America” and modular programs.
