Last year, the Confia booklet initiative was created with the aim of helping families in need in the sectors of El Barrero. The benefit consisted of a booklet helping registered families with 40,000 pesos, who could use the cash equivalent to buy food and household items in stores in the sector that had joined the program.
After the huge help this has meant for families, today the benefit is open again, for those in financial difficulty. Alongside this, a fundraising campaign is being launched for low-income families who have been out of work for months, or who are sick and are not receiving benefits from the state.
Today, ten families benefit from the services of two grocers in the town, who are very grateful to be able to lighten the load on their neighbors.
Below, we invite you to review some images from this new season of the Confia booklet:

Fondacio in Chile since 1980
Fondacio's mission in Chile is to act against the challenges of this time as Christ would do in our place.
The community experience offers spiritual and human growth. In addition, we train young continental change initiators ( IFF America ).
Our programs work with children and pre-adolescents ( Biblioteca Los Almendros ), disabled people ( Centro Ocupacional Hortiterapeutico ), vulnerable families (" Un Hogar mas digno " " Jesus Carpintero " " Reciclo ",), people in street situations (" Mi Proximo ") and all people with limited resources.
Fondacio has been present in Chile since 1980 in its capital, Santiago.
There is a Children's Ministry (6 to 12 years old), different fraternities open to people of all ages (Santiago Gospel, Oasis, Sticks of Hope, Center, etc.) and several community groups of Seniors (people over 70 years old). Everyone is invited to participate in different community meetings and retreats during the year.
Ignacio Troncoso is in charge of Fondacio Chile, the second in charge is Consuelo Silva. The other members of the Council are: Paula Vargas, Francisco Ríos, Lisette Catarino, Rafael Arcos and Luis de la Vega.
