When a young person gets back up, it's a whole future that changes.

YOUTH - LEADERSHIP

When a young person gets back on their feet, an entire future is transformed. This phrase, central to Fondacio's mission, encapsulates more than just a conviction: it reflects thousands of stories witnessed firsthand, from Africa to Asia, Latin America, and Europe. For every young person who is supported, trained, and encouraged to believe in themselves becomes a seed of hope for their community and for the world.

Training to unleash potential

In many countries where Fondacio operates, young people face immense challenges: unemployment, educational insecurity, loss of bearings… Yet, they also possess incredible energy, creativity and a desire to act.

Through programs like the IFF (Africa, Europe, Asia) or the YLDC (Young Lives Development Centers) in Asia and Latin America, Fondacio offers young people comprehensive support: human, professional and spiritual training.
The goal is not just to train technicians, but to bring forth conscious and supportive leaders, capable of positively transforming their environment.

“I learned to believe in my abilities. Today, I'm not just looking for a job, I want to create value around me.”
— Cédric, Cameroon, graduate of IFF Africa

Transformational pathways

Each year, more than 7,000 young people participate in the training courses offered by Fondacio.
Beyond professional skills, these paths allow each person to reconnect with who they truly are, to give meaning back to their future, and to learn to take care of life — of themselves, of others and of the planet.

Whether it is in an agroecology workshop in Togo, an entrepreneurship program in Malaysia, or a discernment session in France, the Fondacio experience rests on the same pillar: people first.

The social impact of conscious leadership

When a young person is trained, an entire community benefits. Many, in turn, become mentors, trainers, or social entrepreneurs, creating a snowball effect of hope and action. Through this model of conscious leadership, Fondacio aims to contribute directly to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN, particularly those related to education, decent work, and reducing inequalities.

“The OSO guidance program for our 10th and 11th grade students is very positive. For the past three years, this YLDC program has addressed the significant need of our students to clarify their post-high school plans. It allows young people to identify their strengths and weaknesses and to envision their future studies concretely by asking their personal questions. In fact, we finished 2024 with a majority of students who were able to confidently choose their path, and many were able to enter university, which had never happened before.” Leofanor Palacio – Colombia: Teacher at Sierra Morena High School, beneficiary of the YLDC Potosi program, OSO guidance for his students.

A future to build together

Educating a young person is much more than an educational act: it is an act of faith. It is believing that every human being carries within them a light that, once awakened, can illuminate the world. It is also a call to everyone—individuals, patrons, businesses—to support this mission. For behind every individual success lies a collective alliance between those who give, guide, and believe in the power of youth.
