France: Three questions for Marianne de Boisredon, head of Fondacio in France, by the magazine Parole et Priere!

What is Fondacio’s vocation?

The members of Fondacio have a deep faith in God and in Man. This faith leads to awakening the best in each person, their beauty, their talents, their dignity, their unique dimension. At Fondacio, we want to share the "contagion of Hope" that the Gospel gives us and take part in the challenges of our society by working with numerous proposals for human and spiritual formation and solidarity actions.

What is Fondacio’s hope for young people?

Through its projects with young people aged 12 to 30, Fondacio aims to help each person build themselves as human beings, develop true relationships, take their place in society and discover or revisit the richness of the Christian faith. Fondacio relies on a pedagogy based on listening to oneself and sharing life experiences in small groups to learn to know oneself better and take care of one's inner life.

What does living Laudato Si' mean at Fondacio?

Based on the Gospel, Fondacio's pedagogy serves the humanization of life in its 3 dimensions:

- “being yourself” - giving meaning and coherence to your life,
- "being with" - living better together
- "to be for" - to engage in the world.
The Fondacio Centers, including those in France, are committed as places of Laudato Si' to accompanying each person fraternally on their path of transformation, in order to safeguard our common home.
