Fondacio intervenes in multiple sectors of activity, intended for different audiences, in various ways, adapted to each culture and to each situation, in order to respond to the aspirations and quests, to the dissatisfaction and poverty of the world.

Activities adapted to needs

In total coherence with its cause (“Building a more humane and fairer world”) and relying on its experience and know-how, Fondacio offers many activities of different kinds, declined in the culture specific to each country:

- Training sessions or cycles, sharing groups, for people at the different key stages of their lives (young people, couples and families, seniors and seniors) or as part of their professional and social responsibilities (responsible in society).
- Solidarity projects with the poorest and people in situations of exclusion.
- Activities or projects more targeted on major themes for the evolution of the world and society: integral ecology, social entrepreneurship, spiritual life.

To facilitate access to these activities and related events, these have been grouped into “major areas of activity”:

Youth

Welcoming, awakening, accompanying, training, educating,… helping young people to build themselves in their relationship to themselves, to others and to the world. Camps, retreats, educational projects, tutoring, thematic internships, international volunteering missions… Fondacio watches over these future builders of a more humane and fairer world.

Couples and families

Provide solutions and tools to build the foundations of a fulfilling life together, help establish the foundation to protect the family and know how to use psychological and spiritual support to be stronger together. For Fondacio, the balance within the couple is decisive for building the framework of a fruitful and fulfilled family life.

Our seniors

Revealing yourself and others for a new stage of life. Arouse desires to discover, to get involved, to take advantage of your retirement time for new horizons: volunteering, fraternities, spiritual deepening, healing with nature… Fondacio offers answers to those who want to live fully, in a spirit of detachment and youth at heart.

leaders

Provide ways of reflection and transformation for a more human and spiritual leadership in the service of others. Propose keys to put into action methods of collegial discernment and collective responsibility on the models of the liberated company. Leaders in society represent one of the priority missionary axes for Fondacio and for which new proposals are emerging in different countries.

Solidarity

Rehabilitate disadvantaged neighborhoods, support destitute local populations, help access to decent housing, welcome abandoned children, deploy prevention, hygiene and health actions, run educational centers, train young people to help them integrate or develop projects, etc. Many local initiatives are supported and encouraged. Working for greater solidarity is one of the foundations of Fondacio, which has always been committed to helping the poorest.

Social Business

Encourage economic and social development initiatives in an approach that respects people and the environment, create models of supervision and support for young rural people in agricultural entrepreneurship, promote the development of new generation projects of builders.

Integral Ecology

Support projects that respond to the new challenges of a more humane and authentic ecology, promote progressive solutions concerned with the preservation of the planet, with respect and the well-being of the human family. In this regard, Fondacio subscribes to the call of Pope Francis’ Encyclical Laudato Si’ to preserve the common home, to respond both to the degradations of nature and of human relationships. “The cry of the earth is also the cry of the poor”.

Training

Offer training programs or sessions aimed at the expectations of diverse audiences, mainly for young people with Fondacio Training Institutes on the 4 continents, but also with adapted proposals in each country: academic support, assistance with professional integration, project management, personal development and spiritual renewal.

Witty

Offer to those who are in search of meaning, and wish to deepen their faith, several possibilities such as spaces for reflection and spiritual openness, moments of exchange with others, insights into man and life, opportunities for involvement in projects. Fondacio offers several support options and welcomes everyone as they are and as their beliefs are, in a spirit of ecumenism and dialogue.

Community

Make available and maintain a “community know-how” inspired by the grace of Christian community life, which leads people on a path of transformation and gives a specific color to all of Fondacio’s missionary projects. This grace is particularly embodied in sharing groups on a human scale allowing us to walk with others.

Some proposals may relate to more than one of these activity sectors, depending on the entry point used.

Fondacio has also created training institutes on each continent for young people looking for a professional orientation or a commitment to society that brings meaning to their lives.

To carry out its activities, Fondacio has forged multiple partnerships and collaborations in a spirit of mutual aid and synergy of skills and resources.
