Community

Being a senior or an elder no longer means being on the margins of society, but on the contrary, continuing to be an actor in it, in new ways specific to each person.

How to do it?

By offering spaces for reflection and spiritual openness, moments of exchange with others, insights into man and life, opportunities for involvement in projects.

In all of Fondacio’s activities, everyone is welcomed as they are. This experience is accessible to all: Fondacio is a movement based on a Christian community, which offers everyone the opportunity to take a journey according to their aspirations, possibilities and calls, and to participate together in the construction of a more human and just world. .

Communal grace:

    • irrigates our training.
    • marks our sessions and our pedagogy (for example through “small sharing groups” where everyone is invited to say “I” on intimate subjects and where we try to apply a rule of non-judgment and unconditional welcome .
    • permeates our missionary projects, where time is always set aside, even in the heat of the moment, for free moments of sharing and prayer.

Community in pictures

Fondacio believes that a path of unity is possible between individuals of different social origins, cultures and different age groups, but also between people of different faiths.

At the heart of these encounters, a true and open friendship develops, a friendship that transforms and makes more human, a friendship that manifests God’s love for the world and for each human person, a friendship like that which Jesus shares with his companions and all who cross his path.

People who so wish can invest more strongly in the alliance community that is Fondacio: they are called “committed”.

Many are those who participate in the life and missionary activities of Fondacio without being committed. The community recognizes, thanks and rejoices in their participation, feeling accompanied and supported by their friendship.
