Training
A major conviction: the transformation of the world requires the transformation of oneself and the consolidation of the “inner man”. No new world without a new man.
A pedagogy that takes into account the human as a whole
In the beginnings of Fondacio, the activity was essentially oriented towards the formation of young adults, evangelization and the deployment of lay vocations in the world to bring “something new”.
Quickly, a pedagogy asserts itself and tools are developed, which make it possible to accommodate an ever-increasing number of people wishing to grow both humanly and spiritually. This pedagogy promotes the integral development of the person.
Three dimensions in which the charism of Fondacio, based on the Gospel and expressed in its DNA, is exercised, gradually taking shape in unity as three dynamics of life and growth: to be oneself, to be with, to be for.
Through their own proposals or those of organizations close to Fondacio, people live a real path of transformation and conversion affecting the whole person, in unity and harmony “body-soul-spirit”. We are talking about the integral development of the person.
Training proposals that today address a variety of audiences.
Over time, proposals are developed aimed at other audiences thirsting for a “more” for their life or for their commitments, in search of meaning, or simply in search (responsible in society, couples and families , seniors, people in precarious situations).
Formation occupies a major place in the proposals made to each of these audiences, with the conviction that the transformation of the world passes through the transformation of oneself and the consolidation of the “inner man” by the Spirit (cf. Saint Paul in Epistle to the Ephesians, Ep 3-14).
The Fondacio Training Institutes , the IFFs, offer a diversified offer to be discovered in each country / continent.
These proposals are available in different forms, depending on the local contexts and the cultures of the countries: sessions, cycles, courses, spiritual retreats, training programs, projects.

The Fondacio Training Institutes are on the 4 continents. Faced with an ever-widening range of possibilities, the uncertain future of the planet, the upheaval of values, young people increasingly need solid training and support to orient themselves correctly and clear a path.
A Fondacio Training Institute on each continent
On each of the 4 continents where Fondacio has developed, a Fondacio Training Institute has been created: IFF Europe in Angers (France) and Louvain la Neuve (Belgium), IFF Asia in Manila (Philippines), IFF Afrique in Lomé (Togo ) and finally, in 2015, IFF America (Santiago de Chile).
They allow young adults to reflect on their vocational axis, by discovering their own talents, and to acquire the knowledge, skills and interpersonal skills that will allow them to fully blossom in their personal and professional life. And thus, become agents of change in the world.
A particular application to young people living in extreme poverty is made, mainly in the Asian countries , in specific centers YLDC , Youth Leadership and Development Centers, whose objective is to provide the basis for developing an income-generating activity and thus be an actor in the social and economic life of their own country.
Finally, projects relating to the education of children and young people have been developed in certain countries and make it possible to give young people the necessary education so that they too can later become agents of change at the heart of the world, in their living environment.
In connection with Fondacio’s DNA, each member of Fondacio undertakes to pursue a path of transformation – to become oneself, with and for others, in the spirit of the Gospel – in the forms that suit them, to gradually become a little more “a spark of change in the heart of the world” “, as defined and promoted by the Fondacio 2018 International Congress, to be together the builders of a more human and just world.
