Fondacio’s support for the various potlucks organized by the inhabitants of El Barrero is growing. As we mentioned earlier, Fondacio started last May to support the common pot of the neighborhood association Las Araucarias, located a few meters from the center of Los Almendros. Its first 200 solidarity lunches quickly grew to 280 which are currently delivered on Wednesdays and Saturdays. An eleventh was also added on Sunday.
However, new opportunities to support the neighbors have appeared during the month of June, especially at the common pot of Las Canteras 1. Here, the neighbors offer 150 solidarity lunches on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Also from June 20, we started contributing to a third neighborhood pot, this time in La Pincoya where neighbors prepare 80 lunches, three times a week.
At the time of this writing, Fondacio has also sponsored a fourth common pot, with 150 other lunches, in particular that of El Bosque 2, while a new request for collaboration has been received from the town of Pomaire, where the artisans are going through a difficult time at work due to the pandemic
