In Fondacio Chile’s constant effort to help, accompany and support those who have suffered the most from this pandemic, there are two campaigns that have already brought relief to hundreds of people: the common pots and the Confia booklet.
However, in order to continue to help in these areas, the collaboration and support of anyone who wants it is of the utmost importance. That’s why we’re grateful for donations from selfless people and businesses that allow us to continue delivering a plate of food to those in need.
Thanks to Federico Errázuriz, his friend Agustín Maffei, contributed 100 bags of potatoes, 25 kg each, which represents an approximate value of 700,000 Chilean pesos
On behalf of Movistar Chile, we received a contribution of 1,300 kg of black beans, as well as 500 bags of asparagus soup of 3,700,000 gr each, worth 3,700,000 Chilean pesos.
The contributions received were distributed in six different common pots, in which Fondacio Chile is present, in addition to providing aid to the Parish of Our Lady of the Poor, and to ten beneficiaries of the “Libreta Confía”.
Fondacio in Chile since 1980
Fondacio’s mission in Chile is to act against the challenges of this time as Christ would do in our place.
Community experience offers spiritual and human growth. Additionally, we train the Young Initiators of Continental Change (IFF America).
Our programs work with children and pre-teens (Biblioteca Los Almendros), disabled (Centro Ocupacional Hortiterapeutico), vulnerable families (“Un Hogar mas digno” “Jesus Carpintero” “Reciclo”,), people in street situations (“Mi Proximo”) and all people with limited resources.
Fondacio has been present in Chile since 1980 in its capital, Santiago.
There is a Children’s Pastoral (6 to 12 years old), different fraternities open to people of all ages (Santiago Gospel, Oasis, Sticks of Hope, Center, etc.) and several community groups of Seniors (people over 70 years). Everyone is invited to participate in various community meetings and retreats throughout the year.
Ignacio Troncoso is responsible for Fondacio Chile, the second responsible is Consuelo Silva. The other members of the Council are: Paula Vargas, Francisco Ríos, Lisette Catarino, Rafael Arcos and Luis de la Vega.
